Now bada 1.0.2 thats what am running and it has a few new features like Option to upgrade frimware OTA, whenever u connect tokies it asks if u want to close apps just click yes and done also option to save contacts to sim and its much faster am glad i took the risk!!!!!!!!

i think its already out.open samsung apps in ur phn.see detail of any application it says new software available.chek the screen shot.

Hi,

Upgraded firmware to Bada 1.0.2 yesterday through KIES. I see now in the settings menu an option of "Software Update" I tried it but all it says is trying to connect to server. Anyone any ideas what this option is for? Since all the apps and widgets are updated through the Samsung Apps application. So i'm a bit puzzled here. Thanks in advance

Hi all
I have recently picked up a second hand, fully unlocked Samsung Wave. I have checked my firmware which is:

S8500XXJEE and below that S8500XEUJEC.

I have connected to Kies but get the message "this device's version cannot be updated".

From what I have read, it doesn't appear that I am on the latest firmware, even though Kies is telling me I am.

By the way, I am in UK.

when im trying to update on phone (new update menu on settings menu) it says "Sign in to your Samsung account to download software update".

I already have my samsung account enabled on my accounts menu but still it keeps saying that.

Hi I done the following update to Bada 1.0.2.

I even updated from XXJH1 to XXJH3

Your links were not working, so i used the following post in the same forum

But now my problem is i could n't see "Dolphin Browser" any more with bada 1.0.2. I have an option internet in widgets, when i click on it, it takes me to "Social Hub - coming soon".

Any ideas how to do this. I bought this mobile from UK and using in india. How can i check GPS is working fine or not. So far my GPS settings are not picking up locations. always 0.00.

any helps would be appreciated.

You are getting it all wrong here..I followed the same.

Please note that your need to flash in a specific order or else you may brick your phone.
XXJF1 (Full) --> XXJF7 (update) --> XXJG5 (update)--> XXJG6 (update) and XXJH1

and the link http://samsung-firmware.webs.com/s8500.htm , no longer exists..

i did update yesterday and now my battery is down in 12 hours before i had 5 days.out of memory bug is stile there plaing a game.and when i push on the email app it wont go directly to the inbox anymore .and no setting to do so ::)iam from holland btw firmware 1008191645LISS8500XXJH3 BADA1.0.2 Sad
