So for those people I have uploaded the .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 and Windows media player distribution which came with the CD 2 which is essential for KIES. KIES installed and runs flawlessly on both. You should have no problems with it, if you do, try compatability mode in win7. I will get back to the kies after i have requested replacement for my wave coz i have a few problems with it...i charge every night, my calendar has a mind of its own that it transfers an event to another date and that the internal memory is just 500MB (i thinks its supposed to be 2GB), i think could have given us a demo unit. The Wave has 2gb on board. The fact that you only have 500mb is because that is all there is after the OS has it's share and the reserved space for the system to run. The 500mb is for you to install apps on. If you need space? Of course you do, we all do. Get a MicroSD card, 16gb will probably be the one most go for. I have a 32gb card with almost 16gb filled already!
