Firmware upgrade issue.

Thanks for helping, guys. I'll try updating my phone again via Kies on another computer, if it still doesn't work I guess I'll have to flash my phone.

EDIT: I have already downloaded the 2.0 FW on Samfirmware.com (the zipped folder name is S8500JVLC2_S8500OJVLC2_TUR). And I have multiloader 5.67 in my laptop. Now all I need is a good guide on flashing.

I already have Bada 1.2 JVKC1 on my Wave, so I guess if ever I would flash my phone, I would flash the 2.0 since it will be my first attempt and I don't know a lot about the CheckFUSDownloader.

This is CheckFUSDownloader. It downloads it's firmware off Samsungs own servers.
Sometimes it's only an update, hence the two steps i did. (Just to be sure)

Since you already have JVKC1, all you need is this update. TUR is the country code.

But, you have already downloaded the update - so this is just some info on CheckFUS.

I didn't try updating the phone on another machine but instead went on and took the risk of flashing it.

And guess what? It was a success!! The process took exactly about 13 minutes. I never thought it would be that easy. I was intimidated by the flashing problems I read on the forum that's why I didn't have the courage of doing it on my phone, until now. :3

I only had a tiny glitch - when I connected my phone via Kies, it said that my phone doesn't support FW update via Kies. And I saw that my CSC was KOR instead of TUR. So, I changed the CSC back to TUR and now it's solved.

THANK YOU SO MUCH, BBB FOR NOT GIVING UP ON ME. (+1 for that ) Now I finally have 2.0!! My dad wants to use the phone now because he liked it. Haha.

Yeah, I have read that the CSC glitch could cause network problems, etc. Thanks for the help again. I am definitely enjoying the phone.

I am providing u with some (bad quality, sorry) photos

On the first photo, u see what's on the screen of my phone, and the kies on my laptop trying to locate the phone but not succeeding. As u see, i disconnected the usb mouse, just in case

On the second and third photo, u see that i am trying to do an emergency update/retrieval, i am not sure how to translate it from greek, i insert the code but it fails.
