Could someone help me increase the earpiece volume for calling, as it is very low(even when full). I did see some options in the menu(one that is generated with the code), but did not mess with it.

When I type in the code *#5239870*# for the admin settings, there are is Internals option for me, just these:

1 Software version
2 Pre-configuration (I've used this to change the region code)
3 Network settings
4 Application settings

What the hecK?

I seriously would'nt bet money on that !

People HAVE messed their phones in these menus , see it as kinda similar to PC bios , only more complicated and totally without a "set to defaults" option ...

If you do alter anything ... make a note of it's value before changing it , be VERY careful if you insist on messing with it.

i'm not stupid to fall in this situation!

All i want is just fix the 2 sec. delay that samsung made!! :s (they got a great intelligence are they?! to make a gletch like this) I mean there is already in settings - 2nd option in the list call "Raising melody" so obviously it should be the opposite of 1st option that call "Melody"

There are alot of repeated settings inside every option so it's a mazy around plus i don't know why there are 6 levels and sometimes they starting with minus then decrease/encrease to the opposite and sometimes the value stay fixed in every level..etc

Whatever the options that i should access it this not the big problem but what makes me more confuse is the 2 sec. comparing with the values inside every option from AP & CP

Finally that's my conclusion! hope someone analyze my words and extract from it the solution.

You are a n00b... Get out of there now before you screw it up.

First off, the values in there are hexidecimal values. Second, "Raising Melody" means "Ascending Ringtones" where the volume rises as the call comes in.

1st read again my previous reply.

2nd as i know from 0 to 100dB and the opposite are the whole volume so if it's 60dB and it's somehow low then 80 will give MORE loud not something else so what hexy do you talking about??!!

anyway and whatever the situation now all these craps i don't care for them so all i care about if you know that much why don't you give me what option should i get inside it & what values should i change them Tongue

Look, Samsung has always had a quiet ring for the first 2 seconds on all it's phones. I've owned many Samsungs over the years, and they are all the same.

Many have tried to find it, but there is not a solution unless someone can hack the sound codec. No one has yet.

This is one thing you'll have to live with.
