has anyone seen these functions on wave 1 and 2...Huh

i mean they were supposed to be there right with bada 2.0???

NFC needs harware which is not in Wave 1 or 2.  

WiFi direct should be able to work in theory but no one has got it working yet to my knowledge.  There are wifi direct settings in some of the hidden config files in bada 2 firmware but I suspect the custom firmware would need to use some S8600 modules and this is not possible as far as I know.

well thats a bummer...

well i tried using one of the settings by typing *#7092463*#->module settings->wifi direct
well nothing happens...

guess il give it a try using stune to see if i find anything...

I bet there's a lot of people intrested in wifi direct, as it's supposed to replace bt in the age of hd video recording. Was it available in bada 1.2?

nope it was supposed to be in bada 1.2 but i don't really know why they did not put wifi direct in wave 1 and 2 after upgrade to bada 2.0 as it was supposed to be there ...
might be hardware requirement but i may be wrong....
